Engr. Mishell Dahuya-Lawas presented a paper entitled Micro-Controller Based Stewart Motion Simulator with PID Tuning” in the 2nd International Symposium of Information and Internet Technology (SYMINTECH 2017) at Patong Resort Hotel, Phuket last October 10-12, 2017.
The paper is about a motion tracker designed and constructed to serve as a platform emulating the flight dynamics of an unmanned aerial vehicle before its actual flight. The tracker will be used to analyse the ruggedness and stability of the unmanned aerial vehicle during extreme flight conditions that it may be encounter while the vehicle is in flight. It is controlled by a PID control system and uses an Arduino-based micro-controller system that can gradually adjust the lengths of the legs of the platform using linear actuators.
