New Buildings to rise in MSU-General Santos

The construction of classrooms and the new MSU-GSC gymnasium is ongoing for this year 2019
in the campus.
Six (6) classrooms for the College of Social Sciences and Humanities (CSSH) with a contract price
of P7, 500,000 CSSH are currently built along the corner of the road fronting the Alumni park and the
MSU-GSC (old) gymnasium by LeighCheen Construction Corporation. Six (6) classrooms for the college of
Natural Science and Mathematics (CNSM) with a contract prize of P7,600,000 are also being constructed
fronting the Office of the Student Affairs (OSA) with Ed Sixty Four Enterprises as contractor. The
construction of CSSH rooms started last February 14 while the CNSM rooms last March 1, 2019. Both
buildings are slated to be finished for 120 days. The cost of both buildings comes from the Special Trust
Fund (STF).
On the other hand, the new MSU-GSC Gymnasium has a contract prize of 200 M coming from
the General Appropriations Act (GAA). The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH)
supervises the cost and construction of the building which is expected to hold a capacity of 6,000
